To apply for instrumental or vocal lessons, you can sign up via the online application form. Please note that we no longer accept paper application forms.
You may like to give our friendly office staff a call if you wish to discuss your requirements first.
On receiving your application, we will arrange lessons with an appropriate teacher. In situations where this is not possible, e.g. the teacher does not have any available time, your application will be kept on file for six months. In this case, you will receive an email letting you know that there is no teacher currently available.
Once a teacher has been allocated, they will contact you to confirm arrangements and tuition will start on an agreed date.
Once you have confirmed details with the teacher, the office will draw up an invoice for lessons and send it out to you.
Please be aware that lessons cannot commence until the invoice has been paid.
If you wish to sign up for online lessons for a pupil who is under 18, you will need to agree to the Online Safety Agreement. This is integrated into the application form. However, if you wish to transfer existing face-to-face lessons to online, please fill in and return this online safety agreement form:
We are committed to the principles of data protection and information management. All personal information held on computer and manual files will remain confidential to the Swindon Music Co-operative and will not be shared with unauthorised individuals or external companies.
Under the Data Protection Act, you have the right to receive a copy of the personal data we have about you. You also have some rights under the General Data Protection Rights (GDPR) legislation. To receive a copy of the information we hold about you, please contact the Office Manager.
